Servicemen of the repair company of the 11th Army Corps of Russia’s Sever group of forces have developed a protective structure for towed artillery guns against Ukrainian drone attacks. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the unit commander with the callsign «Pushkin.»

According to him, the enemy is actively using FPV drones and hexacopters of the «Baba Yaga» type to drop various types of munitions. In response, the unit designed a protective add-on structure for towed artillery — something they had not previously done.

The commander said the protection system has already been successfully tested by artillery crews and is currently being improved based on frontline experience.

The structure is now being used by crews operating D-30 and M-46 howitzers in the Kharkov direction.
