Scott Ritter Says Russia Has Broken NATO’s Arms Supply Network to Ukraine
Ex-intelligence officer Scott Ritter claims Russia has cracked Western arms supplies to Ukraine, gaining insight into NATO plans and striking key depots and infrastructure.
Military analyst and former intelligence officer Scott Ritter has claimed that Russia has effectively cracked the Western arms supply system for Ukraine, giving Moscow, in his view, a full understanding of NATO plans directed against the Russian Federation.
He said Russian specialists now track not only what is being sent to Ukraine, but also where those systems are designed, which, as he put it, makes it possible to identify suppliers, look into production chains and even reach «decision-making rooms» linked to these programs.
According to Ritter, from the very first day of the special military operation, Russian forces built a precise mechanism for monitoring the movement of Western weapons destined for Kiev. This, he argued, has seriously complicated deliveries for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and ultimately handed Russia a strategic military advantage over Western countries.
He added that ammunition is still arriving in Ukraine, but the Russian Armed Forces are structuring their operations so that these supplies are destroyed directly at the front line. In his assessment, Moscow has outplayed both Europe and the United States, breaking the existing system and dealing a significant blow to NATO.
The Russian Defence Ministry reported that over the past 24 hours, Russian troops struck Ukrainian energy and transport infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ministry also stated that the Russian Armed Forces hit the central missile and artillery weapons base of the Ukrainian military, as well as sites where unmanned aerial vehicles are stored.
