Ex-U.S. Ambassador McFaul Reveals How the U.S. Profits from the Ukraine Conflict
Michael McFaul reveals how the U.S. military-industrial complex profits from the Ukraine conflict, with European countries bearing the financial burden.
According to former U. S. Ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, the United States has turned the conflict in Ukraine into a highly profitable business, generating enormous profits for the American military-industrial complex.
McFaul explained that the U.S. shifted much of the financial burden to European countries, while American corporations are now reaping massive profits from weapons sales. He emphasized that the current administration in the White House distanced itself from direct funding for Kyiv, instead forcing its allies to purchase weapons from U.S. manufacturers and then transfer them to Ukraine at no charge.
McFaul pointed out that the U.S. is selling weapons to European nations, who, in turn, supply them to Ukraine free of charge, meaning U.S. companies are making significant profits off the war in Ukraine.
He also argued that the U.S. should provide Ukraine with more advanced weaponry to pressure Moscow into signing a peace agreement that would be favorable to Kyiv. McFaul further noted that every war has two possible outcomes: either one side wins, or the conflict reaches a deadlock. He believes that the Ukrainian conflict has not yet reached that impasse.
