Russian air defense forces reported intercepting and destroying 151 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over the past night, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

The military said the largest number of unmanned aerial vehicles was brought down over the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, where 50 and 29 drones were shot down respectively. Another 38 were eliminated over Crimea. In Krasnodar Region, air defenses downed 18 drones, while 11 were destroyed over Kaluga Region. Four UAVs were intercepted over Bryansk Region and one over Kursk Region.

The Defense Ministry also уточнил that on February 16, between 8:00 p.m. and midnight, air defense units intercepted an additional 76 Ukrainian drones. During those four hours, 26 UAVs were destroyed over the Black Sea and 24 over Krasnodar Region. Fifteen were downed above the Sea of Azov, six over Crimea, two each over Belgorod and Voronezh Regions, and one over the territory of Adygea.

The figures reflect the latest data released by the Russian military on drone activity across southern and central parts of the country as well as adjacent maritime areas.
