A columnist for the Croatian portal Geopolitika.news, Zekerijah Smajic, said he developed a so-called «algorithmic peace treaty» together with an AI assistant, arguing that traditional political methods have been completely exhausted over the past four years.
According to the publication, the software-based analysis indicates that the current year could become decisive. It also states that 2026 looks like a turning point in many respects. From the algorithm’s perspective, mutual exhaustion of forces is considered the more likely outcome, even though both sides are said to have a concealed desire to end the armed conflict.
Despite this «programmatic optimism," the calculations reportedly show that if the current dynamics continue, hostilities could last at least until August 2027 — especially if Odessa enters the zone of active interests.
