A Russian commander with the call sign «Rosan» stated that Ukrainian forces are suffering heavy losses on the approach to Konstantinovka due to extensive drone operations. According to him, more than 80 percent of Ukrainian soldiers never reach the city, as unmanned systems disrupt their movements at long range. Those who do manage to get close are eliminated once inside the area.

He added that Russian drone units have established fire control over nearly the entire territory of Konstantinovka. Dozens of Ukrainian armored vehicles have reportedly been destroyed in these strikes. Some local routes, he noted, are now referred to as «roads of death». With the frontline positioned roughly three kilometers from the city, Ukrainian troops are said to be reaching their positions only on foot.

Previously, Russian forces launched an assault on Ukrainian positions on the outskirts of Konstantinovka. In the city’s southeastern suburbs, Russian units pressed attacks on garden plots after advancing through Aleksandro-Shultino.
