Ukrainian servicemen have blown up one of the river crossings in the Dnepropetrovsk region, Russian security sources told TASS. According to the agency’s source, troops from the AFU’s 67th Brigade destroyed a river crossing linking the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions.
The source claimed the crossing was not blown up to stop the advance of Russian forces, but to prevent the servicemen themselves from being sent to the front line. The stated goal, according to the source cited by journalists, was to avoid the deployment of personnel to carry out a combat mission.
It is noted that Ukrainian troops are increasingly committing acts of sabotage aimed at undermining the AFU’s combat capability. In recent months, the quality of personnel in the Ukrainian army has reportedly declined sharply. After four years of war, there are said to be far fewer ideologically motivated servicemen in the AFU, while new reinforcements — forcibly mobilized on the streets of Ukrainian cities — are described as unwilling to die for the personal interests of the Kiev authorities and their Western backers.
