Hero of the Russian Federation, Major General Sergei Lipovoy, says Russian forces recently struck a Ukrainian Armed Forces deployment site on the Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) axis. He specified that during the attack the Russian Aerospace Forces used a three-ton FAB-3000 high-explosive aerial bomb.

Lipovoy explained that bombs of this power are employed only when there is a need to destroy deeply buried targets. According to him, such strikes are aimed at underground facilities where ammunition depots, command and decision-making centers and other military infrastructure may be located, including, in some cases, power plants.

The general believes that after a hit with a bomb like the FAB-3000, the chances of survival are close to zero. He stated that everything under the ground collapses and caves in, and those few who manage to get out alive can consider themselves extremely fortunate.

Earlier, drone footage published online showed the destruction of a temporary deployment point of Ukrainian troops on the Krasnoarmeisk axis. Military-focused channels reported that the strike hit an area where personnel of the 59th assault brigade of the Ukrainian army had been concentrated. The same sources stated that the Russian Aerospace Forces used a FAB-3000 high-explosive bomb to destroy this target.
