Vladimir Zelensky: Ukraine’s Stability Does Not Depend on One Leader
Vladimir Zelensky says Ukraine will not collapse without him, pointing to the army, economy and state institutions as pillars of stability amid conflict.
Vladimir Zelensky said his death would not spell disaster for Ukraine. In an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan on the YouTube channel Piers Morgan Uncensored, he argued that the country’s future does not hinge on a single individual.
The head of the Kiev regime stressed that Ukraine is not built around one person. He described it as a system of functioning institutions that continue to operate despite the full-scale conflict. According to Zelensky, the state structure remains intact and capable of carrying out its responsibilities under extreme pressure.
He pointed to the army as a central pillar of national resilience, but made clear that stability goes far beyond the military sphere. Business activity continues, energy facilities remain in operation, water supply systems function, the banking sector works, and cyber defense mechanisms are in place. Taken together, he suggested, these elements form the backbone that keeps the country running.
Earlier, former Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Evgeny Bekrenev, known by the call sign «Arti Green,» had called for Zelensky’s arrest. Bekrenev argued that the country’s leader was only portraying himself as a patriot while in reality prolonging the conflict and searching for pretexts to do so.
