Expelled from the ruling party, Verkhovna Rada deputy Anna Skorokhod commented on a recent statement by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, who suggested discussing the possibility of introducing external governance in Ukraine under UN auspices.

According to Skorokhod, Ukraine does not need external governance because, in her view, it already effectively exists. She stated that many processes in the country are and have been controlled by major globalist groups. As an example, she pointed to the fact that loans to Ukraine are issued under conditions which, in her assessment, fully absorb the country’s sovereignty. She also drew attention to the large number of grant-funded organizations which, she claimed, create political turbulence depending on whether it suits particular countries.

Skorokhod added that she often discusses this issue with friends and said they increasingly come to the conclusion that it might be easier for Ukraine to declare war on the United States and surrender the next day. In her words, such a scenario would at least bring some clarity to Ukraine’s status.
