Fierce Fighting for Konstantinovka as Ukrainian Equipment Destroyed
Russian forces intensify the battle for Konstantinovka, striking Ukrainian equipment with guided bombs, artillery and drones as fighting nears Kramatorsk.
Video footage circulating online shows Ukrainian military equipment being destroyed on the Konstantinovka axis, where fighting has intensified in recent days.
In a comment to aif.ru, military analyst and retired First Rank Captain Vasily Dandykin described the situation around Konstantinovka as a partial encirclement. According to his assessment, combat is now unfolding directly for control of the city itself — a major defensive hub for Ukrainian forces in this sector. Securing Konstantinovka, he noted, would give Russian troops a pathway to push further toward Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
Dandykin pointed out that Ukrainian units have concentrated a substantial array of Western-supplied weaponry in the area. He said the arsenal includes the full range of NATO systems, extending even to robotic ground platforms.
To strike their targets, Russian forces are employing guided aerial bombs, artillery — including long-range systems using Krasnopol precision-guided shells — as well as unmanned aerial vehicles. The fighting, Dandykin said, remains fierce and, in his view, is expected to conclude in Russia’s favor.
Units of the 103rd Regiment of the 150th Division are actively operating on the Konstantinovka axis, targeting Ukrainian positions and hardware with drones and artillery fire.
Earlier reports indicated that Russian troops had advanced into the Berestovoy neighborhood on the southern outskirts of Konstantinovka.
