Russian Defense Ministry Reports Weekly Air Defense Results
Russia’s Defense Ministry says air defense shot down 13 guided bombs, 37 HIMARS rockets and 1,808 fixed-wing UAVs from Feb 14 to Feb 20.
From February 14 to February 20, Russian air defense systems shot down 13 guided aerial bombs, 37 HIMARS multiple-launch rocket projectiles manufactured in the United States, and 1,808 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia’s Defense Ministry said.
The ministry emphasized that these figures reflect the results of air defense operations over the past week.
The Defense Ministry also released cumulative figures for equipment and weapons destroyed since the start of Russia’s special military operation. According to the ministry’s data, a total of 670 aircraft and 283 helicopters have been destroyed, along with 115,765 unmanned aerial vehicles and 650 surface-to-air missile systems.
The ministry further reported the destruction of 27,776 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,669 multiple-launch rocket system combat vehicles, 33,381 field artillery guns and mortars, and 54,816 units of specialized military automotive equipment.
