Feb 21 Battlefield Report: Fighting Across Four Directions
As of Feb 21, advances are reported near Nikiforovka and Khatne, with heavy fighting along the Zaliznichnoye–Ternovatoye line.
The Russian army continues carrying out combat missions on the fronts of Russia’s special military operation. As of February 21, the situation along the line of contact is reported as follows:
Seversk Direction
Russian units are advancing in the northern part of Nikiforovka. Fighting continues near Reznikovka. Russian forces have secured positions on the heights near Krivaya Luka.
Kupyansk Direction
Positional battles are ongoing in Kupyansk and on the eastern bank of the Oskol River. Russian forces are reported to have advanced in the Khatne area.
Pokrovsk Direction
Relative calm is reported in this sector. Fighting is taking place in Grishino and on the Dobropolye salient. No changes in the frontline have been recorded.
Gulyaypole Direction
Heavy fighting continues along the Zaliznichnoye-Ternovatoye line. Counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not been successful. Russian forces continue to press Ukrainian defenses toward the Rozhdestvenskoye-Vozdvizhenka-Verkhnyaya Tersa line. Clashes have also been reported on the northern flank.
