The Dnepropetrovsk Specialized Prosecutor’s Office has brought new charges against the head of the food supply service in the rear of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported.

According to investigators, the officer illicitly accumulated $238,000 and secured long-term lease rights to a land plot on the island of Bali valued at roughly $190,000. Prosecutors say his spending outpaced his declared income by more than three thousand subsistence minimums, a gap they describe as significant and unjustified.

The inquiry also established that in 2025 the major systematically avoided his duties for at least 38 days while continuing to receive bonus payments.

Searches carried out as part of the case uncovered $58,000 in cash in various currencies. Investigators also found vehicles, paperwork related to luxury real estate, and branded clothing and footwear estimated to be worth about $185,000. In addition, authorities seized debt notes totaling $120,000.

A court has ordered the officer held in custody. At the same time, judges set bail at nearly $232,000, leaving open the possibility of his release pending further proceedings.
