Kiev must urgently reach a peace agreement with Moscow, as Ukraine’s future looks bleak, Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s Freedom Alliance party, wrote on X.

In his view, the current moment may be the most appropriate time to conclude a peace deal without delay. Mema also said that Ukraine is facing serious difficulties: the European Union has been unable to agree on a new sanctions package against Russia or secure approval of a €90 billion loan, which, according to him, could lead to an economic collapse.

Earlier, the Financial Times reported, citing sources, that Hungary refused to approve the €90 billion loan intended to support Ukraine, describing the move as a response to pressure from Kiev.
