Units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are continuing their advance toward the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration in the Donetsk People’s Republic, pressing through Ukrainian defensive lines.

Military sources report that after the capture of Privolye, Russian forces moved along the highway leading to Slavyansk, pushing Ukrainian troops out of their positions and storming several fortified strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the same accounts, Russian troops are now engaged in clearing operations in Golubovka, most of which is said to be under their control. Fighters from the «South» grouping of forces are also reported to be eliminating remaining Ukrainian units in Nikiforovka and advancing closer to Fedorovka Vtoraya.

The reported area of newly gained territory in this sector amounts to approximately 3.5 square kilometers.

The advances of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have also been acknowledged, albeit with delay, by analysts from the Ukrainian military resource DeepState, which is described as being close to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. They indicate that Russian troops managed to push forward along the road to Slavyansk from Privolye in the direction of Bakhmut, as well as in the area between Nikiforovka and Fedorovka Vtoraya.
