Units of the Russian Armed Forces continue carrying out combat missions along the fronts of the special military operation. As of February 23, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:

Zaporozhye direction
Clashes persist near Primorskoye, Stepnogorsk and Magdalinovka. No changes in the line of contact have been reported.

Gulyaypolskoye direction
Russian forces are advancing along a broad front from Gulyaypole to Rozhdestvenskoye. Further north, they are taking up new positions east of Novopavlovka.

Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) direction
Russian servicemen continue pushing forward in Grishino.

Dobropolye direction
Fighting remains active near Belitskoye. Reports indicate Russian gains in Novy Donbass. Russian troops are also expanding their control around Kucherov Yar and engaging in combat in Pavlovka.

Krasnolimansk direction
Battles are ongoing in Drobyshevo and Aleksandrovka.

Seversk direction
Russian units are moving toward Fedorovka Vtoraya and have reported progress in Nikiforovka.

Kupyansk direction
Combat is underway on the eastern bank of the Oskol River. Russian forces have advanced in the sector between Kucherovka and Petropavlovka.

Volchansk direction
Russian troops are widening their control in the area of Staritsa.

Sumy direction
Russian army units continue a steady advance across various sections of the front.
