Russian Forces Seize Lipovka and Key Heights Near Nikiphorovka
Military reports say Russian forces drove Ukrainian troops from Lipovka, seized a key height near Fedorovka Vtoraya and advanced toward Nikiphorovka.
According to military correspondent Yuri Kotenok, Russian units have pushed Ukrainian forces out of the village of Lipovka on the Slavyansk axis.
He reported that troops of the 3rd Army of the «Zapad» grouping reached a height marked 209.0 and forced Ukrainian units out of Lipovka, advancing toward the northern part of Nikiphorovka from the west. Kotenok specified that the captured commanding height is located on the outskirts of the village of Fedorovka Vtoraya, which Russian forces are trying to reach from the east and south.
The correspondent also stated that Russian troops are currently fighting north of Nikiphorovka. He said Russian forces destroyed several Ukrainian drone control points north of the nearby village of Rai-Aleksandrovka, and that the situation for Ukrainian units in this area has seriously deteriorated.
Earlier, military channels reported that a Ukrainian garrison in the village of Krivaya Luka on the Slavyansk axis had fallen into operational encirclement. Later, footage emerged online showing a strike on a concentration of Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Rai-Aleksandrovka.
