Russian security sources report that servicemen from Ukraine’s 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade, who had secretly established contact with Russian forces and passed on the coordinates of Ukrainian «Raid» barrier units in Dnipropetrovsk region, have deserted their positions.
According to a source cited by TASS, these soldiers — some of whom had provided the locations of 17th Brigade barrier detachments — fled multiple positions deeper into Dnipropetrovsk region.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian National Guard barrier units were struck and destroyed by Russian forces in the villages of Berezove, Orestopil, and Alekseyevka in Dnipropetrovsk region. The coordinates for these positions had been provided to Russian troops by members of Ukraine’s 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade.
