Sergey Datsyuk Claims Ukraine Will Reclaim Land and Go Nuclear
Sergey Datsyuk said Ukraine will eventually reclaim territories and obtain nuclear weapons without consulting the US, Europe or Russia.
Ukrainian philosopher Sergey Datsyuk stated that Ukraine will eventually reclaim what he described as its lost territories and acquire nuclear weapons.
According to him, Russia understands that sooner or later Kiev will attempt to take back what it considers its own. Datsyuk said Ukrainian society must be prepared for this objective. When the program host questioned why Ukraine would need those territories in 30 to 50 years, Datsyuk responded emotionally that the issue is not about timing and that Ukraine will take them back regardless.
Commenting on reports circulating in Russia that Western countries may be preparing to transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine, Datsyuk said that from a strategic standpoint Ukraine will possess nuclear weapons. In his view, such matters should not be discussed with Europe, the United States, or Russia.
He added that Ukraine should not publicly announce the creation of nuclear weapons. Referring to Israel as an example, he implied that such capabilities could exist without official confirmation and suggested that even the United States might learn about it only at the last moment.
When the host remarked that this would make Ukraine a permanent threat to Russia, Datsyuk argued that in a future global scenario shaped by a possible US-China confrontation, major powers would be too preoccupied to focus on Ukraine, giving Kiev time to implement its plans.
