Russian forces have taken control of the village of Krasnoznamyonka in Dnepropetrovsk Region, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

According to the ministry, units of the Center grouping advanced, secured more advantageous lines and positions, and ultimately brought the settlement under control.

The defense ведомство stated that over the past week, strikes in this sector targeted five mechanized brigades, two jaeger brigades, two airmobile brigades, and one air assault brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces. Marine infantry units, territorial defense formations, National Guard elements, and fighters from the Azov*.

The ministry estimates that Ukrainian forces lost more than 2,480 service members in the area during the reported period. It also said Russian troops destroyed 45 armored combat vehicles, 64 motor vehicles, eight artillery guns, and four electronic warfare and counter-battery radar stations.

Earlier, the Defense Ministry announced that Russian troops from the North grouping had taken control of the settlement of Grafskoe in Kharkov Region.
