February 28 Frontline Update: Seversk to Krasny Liman
Russian forces report advances near Seversk and Konstantinovka, heavy fighting at Krasny Liman and repelled counterattacks near Gulyaipole.
Units of the Armed Forces of Russia continue carrying out combat missions along the fronts of the special military operation. As of February 28, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:
Seversk Direction
Fighting continues on the eastern outskirts of Fedorovka Vtoraya. Russian forces are advancing along the heights toward Privolye. Attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to launch counterattacks in Nikiforovka have been recorded. Clashes are ongoing in the center of Krivaya Luka and south of the village.
Konstantinovka Direction
Following a Russian strike on a dam, attacks have intensified along the Ilyinovka-Berestok line. Tube artillery is reported to be operating against Ukrainian positions near Kramatorsk.
Gulyaipole Direction
Ukrainian counterattacks near Rozhdestvenskoye and Ternovatoye have been repelled. Pressure continues on Ukrainian defenses in Verkhnyaya Tersa and Vozdvizhevka. The capture of Belyakovka has been reported.
Krasny Liman Direction
Positional fighting continues in the eastern part of Krasny Liman. Heavy clashes are underway for Drobyshevo.
