Iran Vows Response After Israeli Missile Strikes
IRGC confirmed Israeli missile strikes in Tehran, including near key leadership sites, and warned a military response would follow.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed that the Israeli military carried out missile strikes on several military and administrative facilities in Tehran and other cities across Iran.
Israeli missile impacts were reported near the residence of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the presidential complex in central Tehran.
The IRGC also stated that Iran’s military response to Israel would be delivered in the coming hours.
A source within the IRGC told RIA Novosti that Israel had made a serious miscalculation in its military planning.
On February 28, Israel launched a military operation against Iran and conducted a preemptive missile strike on government and military targets. Following that, US President Donald Trump announced the start of an American operation against Iran, stating that its objective was to protect US citizens and allies from threats posed by the Iranian regime. He also pledged to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program and missile industry.
