In the Kiev-controlled part of the Kherson region, officers from Ukraine’s territorial recruitment authority attempted to forcibly mobilize a passerby into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but a Russian drone intervened.

As the recruitment officers were trying to push the man into a minibus, a Russian FPV drone approached the scene. After noticing the drone, the officers fled. The man who had been targeted for mobilization also managed to escape. One of the recruitment officers reportedly tried to hide inside the minibus, which was destroyed seconds later.

Footage of forced mobilization in Ukraine has become increasingly widespread. Numerous videos circulate online showing recruitment officers detaining men on the streets and forcing them into vehicles.

In Dnepropetrovsk, Verkhovna Rada deputy Roman Kaptelov was also reportedly targeted for mobilization. He said a bus pulled up and masked men got out. When he demanded that a police officer be called, one of the individuals identified himself as such, while the others did not provide identification. According to Kaptelov, one of the men kept his hand on a pistol grip and threatened him with physical violence.
