Russian Troops Report Progress Across Multiple Frontline Directions as of March 1
Overview of the frontline situation as of March 1: advances near Konstantinovka, fighting in Zaporozhye and Seversk sectors, and developments near Krasnoarmeysk and Gulyaypole.
As of March 1, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue carrying out assigned objectives within the special military operation zone. The situation along the line of contact remains active across several key directions.
Konstantinovka Direction
In the south-western part of the city, opposing forces are engaged in direct clashes. Russian units are advancing along the railway line through the industrial area. Fighting has intensified near the Metallurg Stadium and in a sector known as «Gora." Airpower is being used against opposing positions. West of Chasov Yar, the situation remains tense, with sustained pressure along this stretch of the front.
Zaporozhye Direction
The line of contact in this sector has seen no significant shifts. Positional battles continue around Stepnogorsk, Lukyanovskoye, Magdalinovka and Zapasnoye. Shelling has been reported in Energodar, underscoring the ongoing volatility despite the absence of major territorial changes.
Seversk Direction
Russian forces have moved forward between Privolye and Fyodorovka Vtoraya. Strikes have targeted Ukrainian positions near Kramatorsk. Tactical gains have also been recorded on elevated ground north of Reznikovka, suggesting attempts to strengthen positions in strategically advantageous areas.
Krasnoarmeysk (pokrovsk) Direction
Combat operations persist in the eastern part of Grishino, with fighting also focused on control of the settlement’s central area. Russian troops continue offensive actions toward Kucherov Yar and Pavlovka, maintaining pressure along this axis.
Gulyaypole Direction
Russian units have advanced east of Gulyaypolskoye. The settlement of Gorkoye has come under control, and the zone of influence has expanded north of Rizdvyan ka. Conditions are being shaped for further movement toward Verkhnyaya Tersa and Vozdvizhevka.
