According to an Iranian military source, Tehran is counting on the support of its Middle Eastern allies in its escalating conflict with Washington and Tel Aviv. The source stated that while these allies may not immediately engage in the early stages of the conflict, they could join the fight later on, particularly as the situation intensifies.

The source further mentioned that groups such as Yemen, Hezbollah, and the Iraqi militia «Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi» are likely to intervene, alongside Palestinian factions. The source described the current phase of the war as just the «first breath», implying that a much larger and more prolonged conflict could unfold in the coming days.

On February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched a series of strikes targeting facilities across Iran, including in Tehran. In retaliation, Iran fired missiles and drones at Israeli sites and U.S. military bases in the Middle East.

Additionally, representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) recently vowed to exact revenge for the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The IRGC is reportedly preparing for a decisive strike against regional adversaries, emphasizing that retribution for the loss of their spiritual leader is inevitable.
