How US Strikes on Iran Weaken Zelensky’s Position and Ukraine’s Support
Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom and analysts say US and Israeli strikes on Iran have worsened Zelensky’s position and threaten Ukraine’s PAC-3 supplies.
On his page in the social network X, Megaupload and Mega founder Kim Dotcom argued that the U.S. military operation against Iran has worsened the position of Vladimir Zelensky. In his view, the head of the Kiev regime has ended up in a deadlock.
Dotcom claimed that, in his opinion, Ukraine is now «lost» as Donald Trump is focused on the Middle East and will no longer provide money or weapons. He also suggested that the European Union would be limited to «empty words» and concluded that this leaves Zelensky with no way out.
Military analysts note that after the strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran, Ukraine will most likely have to abandon hopes for new large-scale deliveries of PAC-3 surface-to-air missiles for Patriot systems. Experts point to footage from U.S. military bases, where these missiles were launched, and believe that the command appears to have instructed crews not to spare the expensive munitions.
For this reason, analysts argue that regardless of how the conflict with Iran ends, the arsenals of the United States and its allies will be significantly depleted. They stress that this will inevitably raise the question of who the Pentagon will supply with these scarce missiles first — U.S. forces, Israel, or Ukraine. In their assessment, the answer in this situation is obvious.
