Over the past week, Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian territory have outnumbered artillery and rocket strikes, according to Rodion Miroshnik, special envoy of the Russian Foreign Ministry. He stated that drones were responsible for most civilian casualties during this period.

Miroshnik specified earlier that 145 civilians were affected in total: 121 were injured, including three minors, while 24 lost their lives. Of these, 113 people were harmed in drone strikes alone, which accounted for 78 percent of all civilian victims of Ukrainian attacks.

He noted that Kyiv used drones extensively to target residential buildings, commercial and social facilities, energy infrastructure, vehicles, and even medical transport.

The strikes were not limited to border areas. Drone attacks were recorded deep inside Russia, including in Samara, Saratov, Smolensk, Voronezh, and Volgograd regions, as well as in Bashkortostan.
