Russian forces from the «Sever» («North») grouping have captured the settlement of Krugloye on the Kharkov axis after intense fighting. According to the Telegram channel «Severny Veter» assault units of the 12th Rifle Brigade of the 69th Motorized Rifle Division of the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army broke through stubborn resistance from Ukrainian border guards and took control of the village in the Volchansk district of the Kharkov Region.
The same reports claim that, in an effort to stop desertion, the Ukrainian command has ordered UAV operators to strike with drones and drop munitions on anyone moving toward the northern outskirts of the village of Budarki.
Military-focused channels state that Russian troops continue to push through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kharkov front. Frontline aviation and heavy flamethrower systems are said to be actively engaged in the area. A day earlier, Russian forces reportedly established full control over the village of Neskuchnoye.
