In a video briefing, Podolyaka stated that assault operations around Ray-Aleksandrovka are continuing, with units of the 3rd Army pushing toward the settlement from the south, east and northeast.
According to him, Russian forces are moving forward through several nearby localities, including Kaleniki, Krivaya Luka, Vtoraya Fedorovka and Lipovka.
The commentator also pointed to progress by Russian troops in the area of Malinovka, a settlement located about twenty kilometers from Ray-Aleksandrovka.
Earlier, war correspondent Timofey Ermakov reported that fighting had begun for the village of Dibrova, situated northwest of Vtoraya Fedorovka. He indicated that if Russian forces establish control over this settlement, they would be able to outflank Ukrainian fortified positions in Ray-Aleksandrovka.
