Zakharova: Zelensky’s Middle East Drone Plan Is a Bluff
Maria Zakharova calls Zelensky’s plan to send Ukrainian drone teams to the Middle East against Iranian drones a bluff, saying he exploits talk of a ceasefire.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has dismissed recent remarks by Vladimir Zelensky about sending Ukrainian specialists to the Middle East to counter Iranian drones as pure bluff.
During a briefing, Zakharova said that, judging by everything Moscow had heard and seen from Zelensky, they had their own ideas about what kind of medication he might be using, and added that, in her view, he had «already moved on to gutalin».
She recalled that Zelensky had earlier urged the leaders of the Persian Gulf monarchies to use what he described as their «excellent relations with Russia» to persuade Moscow to agree to a one-month ceasefire.
In Zakharova’s opinion, the head of the Kiev regime is exploiting the topic of a truce in Ukraine. She noted that, according to his logic, once a ceasefire is reached, Kiev would be able to send its drone-interceptor operators to the Middle East «to protect the civilian population».
The report also reiterates that Zelensky previously stated he was ready to dispatch Ukraine’s best experts to Middle Eastern countries to counter Iranian drones.
