Ukrainian troops have adjusted their approach to drone strikes targeting Moscow and the surrounding region, according to analysts from the Telegram channel Shot.
Beginning on the evening of September 22, the capital region came under attack from small groups of drones-two to four in each wave-marking a departure from earlier strikes. Previous assaults had involved larger barrages of ten or more UAVs launched simultaneously.
The outlet suggested that these drones may have been launched from Ukraine’s Lviv and Rovno regions. Some of the aircraft, it noted, were intercepted before they could even reach the Russian border.
Moscow’s mayor, Sergey Sobyanin, stated earlier on his Telegram channel that a total of 44 Ukrainian drones had been destroyed in the skies over the capital since the beginning of the attacks.
