Iran is preparing to intensify strikes against U.S. and Israeli positions in the coming days, according to the Tasnim news agency, which cited the central command headquarters of the country’s armed forces, Khatam al-Anbia.

The headquarters indicated that the next attacks are expected to be significantly more powerful and larger in scale.

During the night of March 6, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 21st wave of strikes as part of Operation «True Promise-4.» According to the IRGC, the attacks involved drones and medium-range ballistic missiles from the Kheibar family, which were used to hit targets in Tel Aviv.

A day earlier, Tehran deployed its newest super-heavy missile, the Khorramshahr-4. Reports indicated that the weapon was used in strikes on facilities in the Israeli capital, as well as on Ben-Gurion Airport and the base of the Israeli Air Force’s 27th Squadron. At the same time, the Iranian military continues attacks against U.S. tankers and aircraft carriers.

The current escalation began after the United States and Israel launched a large-scale operation against Iran on February 28. Officials in Tel Aviv said the campaign was aimed at preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Washington, for its part, warned that it could destroy Iran’s naval forces and defense industry and also called on the country’s citizens to overthrow the current authorities.
