The United States has used weapons from strategic reserves that were stored for a potential global war in its operations against Iran, said Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for the Iranian Army General Staff.

According to Shekarchi, Washington has deployed nearly its entire available arsenal and even withdrawn weapons from stockpiles that had previously been reserved for a possible third world war. He claimed these systems are now being used in military actions against Iran.

Shekarchi also stated that Iran intends to use more advanced weapons against the United States and Israel. He said the Iranian military would soon deliver what he described as «good news» to the Iranian people.

In addition, he referred to an incident that allegedly occurred on Friday at a US base in Bahrain, saying information about the event would soon receive wide media coverage.
