Iranian air defenses and IRGC units say they have shot down 82 drones since the start of the conflict with the United States and Israel.
Iranian military officials say that air defense forces have shot down 82 drones since the beginning of the conflict with the United States and Israel.
According to a statement by the Iranian army, air defense units together with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intercepted and destroyed dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles during the ongoing hostilities. The information was reported by the ISNA news agency.
The military operation against Iran began on February 28, when the United States and Israel launched strikes on targets inside the country, including locations in Tehran. Reports indicated damage to infrastructure and casualties among civilians.
In response, Iran has been carrying out retaliatory strikes against Israeli territory and against U.S. military facilities across the Middle East.
