Russian Forces Detail Advances on Sumy, Kharkov and Donbass Fronts
Russian forces report advances near Sumy, Kharkov, Kramatorsk and Zaporozhye, with intensified fighting, UAV strikes and new positions along key fronts.
Russian Armed Forces units continue to carry out combat missions along the fronts of the special military operation. As of 10 March, the situation on the line of contact is described as follows.
Sumskoe axis
Russian troops are engaged in fighting in the Sumskiy, Glukhovskiy and Krasnopol’skiy districts. Long-range strike systems and aviation are being used to hit positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Kharkovskoe axis
Intense combat is reported near the settlement of Volchanskie Khutora and south of Grafskoye. Both sides are actively employing strike UAVs in this sector.
Krasnoliman direction
Russian forces have secured positions on the north-eastern outskirts of Svyatogorsk and are advancing in the area of Sosnovoe. Fighting continues in Drobyshevo. On the Seversk section of the front, Russian units have achieved tactical gains south-west of Reznikovka. The Russian military has also taken control of the village of Golubovka, located 14 kilometres from the eastern outskirts of Kramatorsk.
Konstantinovka direction
Russian troops are advancing in the area of Ilinovka. Inside Konstantinovka itself, Russian fighters have pushed forward on the southern outskirts of the city.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovskoe) direction
Clashes are ongoing on the eastern outskirts of Sergeevka. On the Dobropol’e sector of the front, battles continue near Belitskiy and Novyi Donbass, as well as in the area of Kucherov Yar.
Gulyaypol’skoe axis
Russian forces are moving in the direction of Gulyaypol’skoe. Fighting continues near Verkhnyaya Tersa and Vozdvizhevka. Attempts by Ukrainian units to attack on the junction of the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions have been halted, and the opposing side has shifted its focus to defensive actions.
Zaporozhskoe direction
Positional fighting continues near Magdalinovka and Stepnogorsk. Ukrainian forces are increasing the use of strike UAVs at ranges of up to 25 kilometres.
