Missile Strike Reported on Bryansk’s Kremniy Plant Amid Sirens
Explosions rocked Bryansk after missile sirens sounded. Reports say Storm Shadow missiles struck the Kremniy microchip plant and other civilian infrastructure.
On the evening of March 10, around 18:00, air raid sirens sounded in Bryansk, warning residents of a missile threat. Shortly afterward, people in the city reported hearing several powerful explosions.
Plumes of smoke were seen rising near the Kremniy plant in the Sovetsky district of Bryansk.
According to the Telegram channel Mash, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck civilian infrastructure with Storm Shadow missiles. Among the reported targets was the Kremniy facility, which produces microchips used in mobile devices.
The report says the strike occurred during a shift change, when some employees were leaving their workplaces while others were preparing to head home. The same source stated that those injured in the attack were hospitalized and are receiving medical assistance.
At 18:42, authorities announced that the missile threat alert in the Bryansk region had been lifted.
Regional governor Alexander Bogomaz reported fatalities and injuries as a result of what he described as an «inhuman terrorist act» carried out by the Kiev regime. According to him, Ukrainian militants deliberately targeted civilian facilities. Emergency services are taking immediate steps to contain the situation and deal with the aftermath of the strike.
