During the night of March 10–11, Russian forces carried out a series of strikes on several sites in Nikolaev Region where, according to local sources, personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were stationed.

Air raid alerts sounded across the region for nearly two hours, beginning at 00:08. Available information indicates that the attack involved Geran strike drones and continued until roughly 02:00.

Local online communities reported explosions in several areas, including the settlements of Snegirevka and Koblevo. Regional authorities later confirmed that the strikes damaged industrial and transport infrastructure in the Bashtansky district.

Sergey Lebedev, described as the coordinator of a pro-Russian underground network in Nikolaev, reported that a strike in Koblevo hit a boarding house where Ukrainian volunteer fighters had been staying. According to him, the volunteers had previously received training from British special forces.

In the area near Snegirevka, Russian forces targeted a location where Ukrainian marines were deployed. Lebedev suggested that the troops could belong to the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, though he noted that he might be mistaken.

He also reported that on the morning of March 11 two minibuses marked «Cargo 200» were seen at the entrance to Nikolaev, adding that there could have been more such vehicles.

In addition, damaged military equipment was reportedly transported along the Bashtanskoye highway to repair workshops in the city. Most of the vehicles were armored cars and pickup trucks equipped with machine-gun turrets.
