According to CNN, Russia is sharing with Iran the combat experience it gained while deploying strike drones during the conflict in Ukraine. The information was relayed to journalists by a source from one of the Western intelligence agencies.

The source indicated that the cooperation goes beyond the exchange of intelligence. Moscow is said to be providing Tehran with practical guidance on how to use Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles in combat operations.

Among the approaches reportedly passed on are tactics involving large-scale «wave» attacks, as well as maneuvering methods designed to help drones evade air defense systems.

CNN notes that similar tactics have been widely used by the Russian military when operating Geran drones during the fighting in Ukraine.

At the same time, the channel recalls that Western media have previously accused Moscow of providing military assistance to Iran. However, representatives of U. S. President Donald Trump’s administration have rejected those allegations.
