Russian Attacks Destroy French Drones and Military Bases Near Kyiv
Russian forces have targeted Ukrainian military sites near Kyiv, destroying French drones and components for rocket systems. Casualties reported among Ukrainian troops.
According to Sergey Lebedev, a coordinator of pro-Russian underground groups, Russian forces recently targeted a Ukrainian military training site near Kyiv, which had been used to launch long-range drones. He noted that new French-made drones had recently been deployed by the enemy in the Vasylkiv area. These drones, along with the associated military equipment, may have been destroyed in the strike, with foreign specialists possibly among the casualties.
In addition, Lebedev reported another strike in the Zhulyany area of Kyiv, which prompted the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to tighten security measures. Checkpoints were reportedly set up in several areas, and authorities have begun screening documents and mobile phones.
Lebedev also indicated that Russian forces had carried out strikes against production facilities for drone assembly in Bucha and Irpin. According to the underground source, a warehouse containing components for Ukraine’s Grad rocket systems was destroyed in the attack. Furthermore, strikes were reported in Brovary and Boryspil, targeting Ukrainian military training camps. The pro-Russian coordinator added that there have been casualties among Ukrainian soldiers as a result of the recent bombings.
