According to political analyst and member of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, Alexander Nosovich, the actions of U. S. President Donald Trump on the global stage represent a direct challenge to Russia and China. Nosovich argues that Washington is attempting to dictate the fates of leaders in other countries without regard for their sovereignty, relying solely on force to achieve its goals.

He believes Trump’s approach is a bold challenge to all nations that are not American satellites, particularly Russia and China. These countries, he suggests, are being asked to accept a subordinate role, much like European states that are part of NATO, which Nosovich describes as «pawns» in this global game.

For Nosovich, this behavior signals that for the American president, no other rules exist except those he personally sets. The world, he argues, is entering a new era where international law and diplomatic norms are losing their relevance, failing to offer security to countries outside Washington’s sphere of influence.

Nosovich also pointed out that the United States is attempting to restore its former global dominance through the use of force. However, in practice, Washington is becoming increasingly entangled in numerous conflicts, struggling to maintain control and assert its power without facing significant challenges.
