The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has inflicted substantial damage on U.S. military infrastructure across the Middle East. According to the Iranian side, most key facilities at American bases in the region have been put out of action in recent days.
The Fars news agency, citing a statement from the IRGC, reported that satellite image analysis allegedly shows Iranian armed forces destroyed more than 80% of strategic radar systems and other critical nodes at U.S. installations. These targets were described as essential elements of the bases’ operational infrastructure.
Iranian military officials also stated that strikes were carried out on the morning of March 16 against several U.S. facilities located in Persian Gulf countries. The targets included the Al-Dhafra base in the UAE, Al-Udeyri and Ali Al-Salem bases in Kuwait, and the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain.
According to Iranian claims, the attacks focused on infrastructure such as air traffic control towers and equipment storage facilities.
At the same time, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for the central headquarters of the military command «Khatam al-Anbia,» reported that strikes had also been launched against facilities connected with the Iran International television channel. Iranian authorities consider the media outlet to have links to Israel, he indicated.
