Ishchenko: Russia Providing Military Support to Iran
Analyst Rostislav Ishchenko claims Russia is aiding Iran with military support, including air defense and technology, amid tensions with the US and Israel.
Political analyst Rostislav Ishchenko stated that Russia is providing military support to Iran in its confrontation with the United States and Israel, and that intelligence services are aware of this.
He pointed out that Iran has recently managed to significantly improve the accuracy of its missile strikes, which, he said, would not be possible without access to advanced guidance technologies. According to Ishchenko, such technologies could have been supplied by Russia or China. He also claimed that Russia is delivering equipment, including air defense systems, and using military transport aviation.
The analyst stressed that such assistance is not publicly disclosed, similar to how US support for Ukraine has not always been openly reported. As additional evidence, he referred to the growth of Iran’s arsenal of missiles and drones after a previous conflict, stating that such expansion would be unlikely without external support.
Ishchenko added that US President Donald Trump, in his view, is not interested in acknowledging Russian assistance to Iran, as this would raise questions about potential peace agreements with Moscow and confirm continued US support for Ukraine.
