Russian forces launched a large-scale overnight strike on Ukraine’s military and critical infrastructure, with explosions reported in the Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Odessa and Kiev regions.

According to Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the pro-Russian underground, one of the strikes targeted a Ukrainian Armed Forces unit in the Odessa region that had been stationed in a former penal colony building. He also said another strike hit a site near Odessa where unmanned boats were being produced, with Russian drones used in the attack.

Lebedev said other parts of Ukraine were also hit during the night. In Konotop, in the Sumy region, strikes reportedly hit airfield repair facilities where drones were being assembled. He said the blast was so powerful it could be seen from the other side of the city. Another strike, according to his account, hit a missile depot.

In total, Lebedev reported 16 powerful strikes. He added that Russian forces were focusing on precision attacks against military and logistical targets, including airfields, warehouses, drone assembly facilities and railway infrastructure.
