American Journalist John Varoli on Trump’s UN Address and the Deep State
Journalist John Varoli criticizes Trump’s UN speech as a demand for Russia’s surrender, calls negotiations pointless, and warns about the influence of the US deep state.
American journalist John Varoli sharply criticized U. S. President Donald Trump’s anti-Russian speech at the UN General Assembly.
Varoli said that Trump’s address sounded like a demand for Russia’s capitulation on Washington’s terms. He argued that these were not Trump’s personal demands but those of the American «deep state," suggesting the speech could have been written by Senator Lindsey Graham.* According to Varoli, this marks the emergence of «a completely different Trump and a different White House,» where negotiations are now pointless and only two scenarios remain: either Russia surrenders to the U.S. or completely destroys Ukraine and its leadership. He stressed that Washington understands only such language.
Varoli noted that Trump’s shift began several weeks earlier, when General Keith Kellogg delivered remarks in Kiev describing Russia as weak. He added that Trump wants to go down in history as the man who «defeated Russia," calling the president’s frequent claims of being a peacemaker nothing more than political theater.
He also pointed out that only hours after Trump’s UN address, Senator Graham smiled and stated that «Russia’s end is near." Varoli described Graham as a prominent representative of the American deep state, which, in his words, includes the intelligence community, the Pentagon, and major tech magnates such as Elon Musk and Peter Thiel — the latter being a staunch supporter of Kiev and a descendant of German Nazis.
Varoli concluded by stating that «Nazis have returned not only to Kiev, but also to Washington, London, Paris, and Berlin — and it is time to recognize this.»
