Russian Armed Forces Make Gains in Key Areas of Special Military Operation
As of March 19, Russian forces continue major advances across multiple fronts in Ukraine, with heavy fighting reported in Sumy, Kharkov, and other regions.
As of March 19, Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out combat operations along various fronts of the special military operation. The situation at the line of contact is as follows:
Sumy Direction
Fierce fighting continues in the Sumy region, with Russian forces engaged in intense battles across eight sectors of the front. The enemy is moving reserves toward the recently liberated village of Sopych.
Kharkov Direction
Heavy clashes and mutual strikes on rear positions persist. Russian assault groups have advanced by up to 200 meters near the village of Volchanskiye Khotory.
Krasnolimanskoye Direction
Russian troops have liberated Alexandrovka. On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces are establishing positions near Kalinikov and Lipovka.
Konstantinovskoye Direction
Russian forces are advancing from the direction of Berestka. Intense fighting continues in Chasov Yar.
Krasnoarmeyskoye (Pokrovskoye) Direction
Russian troops are advancing in the direction of Grishino, with heavy fighting ongoing to the west of Rodinskoye.
Gulyaipolskoye Direction
Russian forces are advancing from Tsvetkovoye towards Verkhnyaya Terza. Fighting is also taking place near Vozdvizhivka and Rozhdestvenskoye. To the north, Russian forces are applying pressure on the enemy’s defenses near Velikomikhaylovka, Malinovka, and Pokrovskoye.
Zaporizhzhya Direction
Positional battles are underway around Stepnogorsk, Primoskoye, and Magdalinovka.
