The US government has released the 2026 Annual Threat Assessment of the US Intelligence Community.

The report identifies Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and Pakistan as the primary state-level threats.

It also highlights global and transnational risks, including missile threats, migration, cyber threats and emerging technologies, as well as developments in Africa.

Pakistan has been included for the first time among significant nuclear threats due to its development of advanced missile systems potentially capable of reaching US territory.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that, in his view, the United States has already defeated Iran. He also indicated that he does not consider a ceasefire necessary, as he believes US actions in the conflict have been decisive.
