Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s Freedom Alliance party, accused Western countries of hypocrisy amid the military operation against Iran. In a post on X, he stated that, in his view, the West no longer acts as a guarantor of international law and the principles of the UN Charter.

On March 20, the UK government confirmed that it had allowed US bombers to use British military bases to carry out strikes on Iranian missile facilities.
