Vucic: Europe Gradually Changing Stance on Russia Talks
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic says Europe is gradually changing its stance on negotiations with Russia and calls for keeping dialogue open.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that attitudes in Europe toward negotiations with Russia are gradually changing.
In an interview with Berliner Zeitung, he noted that European countries had long believed that no one intended to engage in dialogue with Moscow, but this position is now slowly shifting. In his view, it would be better to keep the door for negotiations open.
Vucic also emphasized that conflicts should be resolved through dialogue rather than force.
Russia has repeatedly stated its readiness for a peaceful settlement regarding Ukraine and is participating in discussions of a US-proposed plan. At the same time, Moscow questions Kiev’s willingness to negotiate and maintains that Ukraine should begin talks.
