Russia’s Defense Ministry said air defense systems shot down 25 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian regions overnight.

According to the ministry, the intercepted drones were destroyed over the Moscow region, the Black Sea, as well as the Vladimir, Belgorod, Kursk, Tula, Ryazan, Rostov, Voronezh and Bryansk regions.

Tula Region Governor Dmitry Milyaev said one drone was downed over the region, adding that there were no casualties or damage. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin also reported that a drone heading toward the capital had been intercepted by Defense Ministry air defenses. Emergency crews were sent to the site where the debris fell.

Rostov Region head Yury Slyusar, for his part, said drones were destroyed in four districts while the air attack was being repelled: Tarasovsky, Kasharsky, Milyutinsky and Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky.
